If they’re worried about fans turning up outside Anfield for a few hours send a shed load of police up there and cordon off the surrounding area.
Result: minimum amount of games needed to be played (3rd place play offs), no litigation from bottom3 of EPL, can all be done before end of June contracts expire.
Obviously the TV companies are still going to want something back though
