So what happens when the lockdown eases?

Or do we stay locked down till a vaccine appears by which time the country/world will be beyond a recession and into a depression which cost a lot more lives in poorer countries (India already have around 100 million now unemployed since their lockdown). If we get a decoy wave do we lock down again - pray tell as you are obviously the expert?
