which funds the rest. Although it's possible that Virgin Trains is now in profit given the huge subsidies that they receive from the taxpayer despite being one of the worst performers. Coincidentally, Richard Bowker, one time head of Virgin Trains is the chairman of the SRA who hand out subsidies.
