Loads of people at my work had something before Christmas

I've never had flu as far as I know and this was more like a bad cold but it was just strange in that it lasted a couple of weeks instead of a few days like a normal cold. I didn't get a cough or fever but some people had cough for weeks. If it was a cold, it was the worst I have had but not bad enough that I was in bed or anything so who knows.
