The government couldn't look after the fallen forces personnel exactly the same as they don't protect the nhs staff.
Instead they are repeating history by promoting things like Help for Heroes.

Effectively they pass the responsibility onto the public but swallow up all the funding we all pay in.

But that's what people did vote for, to be sold off one piece at a time but with state propaganda that people have it better than any other alternative
