as facts change and more information becomes known about what we are dealing with, the advice (scientific, economic, behavioural, political) must surely also have to change.

eg It may well turn out that lockdown was a complete and utter overreaction that will f**k the economy for 10 years.

But we didn't know that *then* so it doesn't make that decision wrong per se (or more importantly perhaps, doesn't mean we shouldn't take a similar path with the next pandemic).
