3 records you hate.... preferably for no good reason...

I've asked this before, but that was mid morning on a weekday pre lockdown so lets try again on a lovely Sunday morning when we've nought else to do.

3 records (tracks not artistes) you just dislike for no real good reason. Tracks others seem to love. So I offer

1) "Mr Blue Sky by ELO". Talk about trite, I like a lot of their early stuff (10538 Overture, Eldorado, Showdown etc) but this is just a a sing a long track on a par with the Birdie Song. The Diary of Horace Wimp is equally awful but luckily gets less plays.

2) "Hotel California by The Eagles". Again, the early stuff they did (Desperado, Already Gone, Lyin Eyes etc) is excellent but this is bordering on American MOR rock at it's worst. Welcome to the Hotel California, You can check in but you can never leave. Too right.

3) "The Lady in Red by Chris De Burgh". Makes the other two seem good by comparison. A dirge with no redeeming features at all and (unlike ELO and The Eagles) I don't like anything else he's done either.

What do others dislike irrationally? These are my opinions, and apologies to any signed up members of ELO and The Eagles Fan Clubs (not Mr De Burgh though).
