Yes, fingers crossed. The numbers today were hopeful just because

if there was a reporting lag then you would expect to see it show in the numbers today or tomorrow but then i'm not sure there is the same lag with the NHS released figures. The numbers reported for the preceding 5 days in each announcement have shown a pretty consistent pattern for well over a week now. About 110-120 for the preceding day, 300-320 for the day before that, 120 the day before that, then 50/60, 25, 15 etc. Based on this i don;t see any of the subsequent days getting up above 8th April and hope we are starting to see a slight decrease.

Today though was slightly better as it covered 113 yesterday, 277 on Monday and 103 on Sunday. So fingers crossed. No doubt tomorrow they will announce 2,000 because nothing was processed over Easter!
