To be honest where clubs are owned by billionaires then I get the

logic behind players potentially refusing to take pay cuts if they think the money saved is just benefiting someone who is already far wealthier than them.

With a club like ours then it could, in time make a huge difference to the ability of the club to survive although it becomes more relevant in a world where TV monies don;t get paid or have to be paid back which is not a point we have quite got to yet.

The 200K is a nice gesture but i think some of these gestures (including the premier league players one) are primarily PR moves aimed at heading off calls/pressure for them to take cuts to their wages across the board and thus keep player wages at the max level they can for when we come out of this crisis. At the same time some clubs are probably trying to take advantage of the situation to get their wage bills down a bit so it works both ways.
