i think you'll find that southampton make three times what we do in kit sales and other merchandise. of course, they don't have a famous tv chef's restaurant at st mary's, but the capacity of that stadium is twice the size of carrow road.

When they sold beattie to everton they made 20 million quid, of which they've only spent 3m so far. They're just being cautious in case they don't go up.
