See, I'd go for that
I don't subscribe to Sky or BT because I want to watch Norwich games. I'm a Norwich fan. I've always been happy to pay to do so and if the games are ppv and I can't go, as long as it's not stupid money, I've got no problem at all with it. The Sky/BT packages aren't for actual football fans, they're for people wanting to be entertained, which is a different audience imo. Sure I'll watch Bournemouth-Burnley, or even Spurs-Man City, if it's on in a pub I'm in. But I'm not spending two hours of my time at home doing it, unless I've really got nothing else to do. Norwich games, though, I'd watch the lot I couldn't get to and happy to pay to as well.
