With respect

I manage a large team.

Some guys are definitely finding solace in work.

Others quite palpably need a break.

You're also living in cloud cuckoo land if you think that people are going to be able to go on a traditional holiday (break away) this year.

I'm not going to force people to take leave, but there are very valid reasons for suggesting that people might want to take some time off around now.

Of course, some employers and managers are heartless idiots, so your milage may vary.
