Two positives from another set of horrible stats today

Increase in cases continues downward trend and below 10% for first time in ages. “Could” hopefully be further indication of social distancing kicking in.

London hospital admissions reduced over the last 24 hours. London has been a little ahead of other areas so that is a promising sign although it appears there is currently a major surge in parts of the Midlands.

Although our death figures (which I understand are all over the place due to delays in reporting, some deaths being reported in batches etc) are awful at the moment our case numbers have remained well below Italy, France abs Spain at “equivalent” stages so if the % increases in cases follow the same trends following lock down (which they are at the moment) then there is perhaps the tiniest bit of hope there.
