Bookies close at 6.30pm on a Friday. I now believe this to be a very good thing.

Went to both Ladbrokes and William Hill in Brighton only to find they were both shut. Which fortunately prevented me from placing a bet on Andy Hughes to score first and Norwich to win 2-1.

However, Sod's Law did not kick in - Norwich were s**t and Hughes was particularly s**t. Ho hum.
