Is testing more actually going to make a difference?
Most the people being tested in Germany are of a younger nature.
Why divert limited NHS resources to drive thru testing or postal testing when it could be better spent treating those in severe conditions.
I know everyone wants to get out of lockdown as fast as possible but testing is only good for telling us what % of population has or hasn't caught it.
To me it makes far more sense trying to contain the already infected and treating them until the new daily cases is back into double digits with deaths hopefully going back to zero.
Then it would make sense to ramp up testing to ensure all others that have it but have mild symptoms stay in isolation. And those that have not caught it yet can be taken out of lockdown
