The legal implications of not finishing this season are too high

If next season starts in August, October or January 2021 it doesn’t matter. That’s next seasons problem. They could have more midweek games, everyone could only play each other once, they could ditch the league cup. All can be sorted out. The only thing that concerns the league is finishing this one and not being open to legal challenge from clubs or broadcasters
