Disgracefull...
tonight we were spineless, lazy, un-motivated, not comitted and worked at low energy levels throughout, all things worthington prides himself and his players on.
Technically we were abysmal, i am disgusted to say that i support a manager that plays this kind of football. McKenzie lost every second half header and most of the first, not his fault, hes being asked to play as a lone striker.
1-0 down, drury off, surely charlton goes left back and safri comes on in the middle, keep the shape. But alas, no, we see our awful 4-2-4 formation, ANY semi capable team can defeat a team like us. Burnley aren't even Semi capable so god knows how they managed it.
I am sickened to watch performances like that, and my heart goes out to the supporters that travelled all that way in the rain to watch. I feel for you.
It has taken me this long to realise that Worthingtons positions is untenable we are playing atrocious football with some of the best players in the league. Disgusting.
