I've heard that BT are being khunts though.
Will come back to what's in those TV deals around this sort of scenario (probably hasn't been thought about to this level of detail) and what clawback they can do over future seasons.
In a multi-year deal the pragmatic solution would be to reduce future support rather than risk clubs going out of business (a real risk in Union), so I suspect we get a reprieve this season but get relegated next year on reduced parachute payments.
It's a similar thing with club sponsorships. In Union most sponsors are in it for the local connections/personal attachments but the more corporatey ones are potentially more flighty. This is where a Woodfordes is good for us (as long as their off sales are holding up) but a Dafabet might be less so. But I assume next season's kit is already well underway, so...
