Anyone knowledgable on imports and VAT/Tax?

I bought a couple of vintage footballs at an auction in the US.Got a bit caught up with it and ended up paying more than intended!
When they send it, what can I expect to be billed by Customs? Are there any exemptions for old/antique items?
