there is a difference...

rumours/speculation on here are usuallly posted as such. In newspapers they are presented as facts. And football is full of uncertainties (would 4-4-2 be better than 4-3-3?, would player X do a better job then player Y? any answer to those questions is speculation). That is the point of any discussion - if you stick to certain facts it isn't a discussion, just a recital. If we just said "we got relegated" (not open to question) without trying to explain why (uncertain and open to debate) it would all be very tedious. What is the harm in speculation? We all KNOW its speculation? Otherwise what ARE we allowed to post about?
