whenever a team gets relegated there is going to be a lot of unrest and unsettled players.

The best players want to stay in the division. The ones on the periphery of the team feel unvalued because they weren't trusted even when the other players were playing poorly.

And being near-certanties for relegation already in January, just amplifies this and brings it all to the fore earlier than usual.

I think it's also a shame that a lot of the players who won the league last year haven't been given a proper go of it this season. Especially considering the new signings have offered very little so far.
