The development is to help the Port of Felixstowe stay competitive.
The land in question is hardly part of a SSI; it is merely arable farmland, directly next to the A14, 5 miles from the Port.
How do you suggest that Felixstowe - part of the most carbon-friendly method of moving goods around - expands without this kind of development?
