the guy flagged for offside was the one that ran towards the corner taker and received it directly from him. ie not offside.

and the other bit...and i quote from that lot what makes up the rules and that for football: "A player is in an offside position if:any part of the head, body or feet is nearer to the opponents’ goal line than BOTH the ball and the second-last opponent" he was behind the ball when it was played...
