Hmmm.

The virus is currently life threatening for the elderly and those without underlying health issues. Those that are given medical attention will probably survive.

The number of cases in China is growing exponentially. The growth in cases outside China is also growing exponentially. The virus has spread to most parts of the globe so we can expect global exponential growth in the number of cases.

What happens when the number of people requiring treatment exceeds the number that can be treated? What happens then? What happens to the elderly and those with underlying health conditions in the UK - e.g. key members of my family. What happens if they contract the virus and the NHS is unable to treat them?

What happens in e.g. India? A billion people infected and a health system unable to cope? How many poor/ill/old will die?

Just because you reckon you will be ok because you are young, healthy and reckon the NHS will look after you does not mean that his could well have a truly devastating effect on the lives of many around the planet :-/
