What is it with West Ham nicking our Bowens?

In the 1990s, my brother used to write to footballers for autographs and he had an entire wall of signed Merlin/Panini stickers. My brother’s a West Ham fan and in 1996 he wrote to Harry Redknapp and asked for his autograph but also included in his letter a request for him to buy Mark Bowen from Norwich. Redknapp then signed Mark Bowen and I was furious. I still haven’t quite forgiven him.
