for ?230k (as suggested) we save ourselves approx ?10k per week i.e. approx ?500k. Given that at Helveg's age he isn't going to be able to cope with a tough 46 game league season AND international football (given the difference in prestige between the two I suspect he'd be saving hiomself for the internationals) it'd be a good deal for us. He was never going to stay if we went down (and for the reasons suggested above we wouldn't really want him to). For the money we could get someone younger and more committed.
