The thing I like with Stokes is that

even though he isn;t always completely in control (like at the start of his innings yesterday) and like anyone he gets out to good balls or to stupid shots occasionally he just gives off this air of complete authority when he's batting these days and even if he comes in when there is a bit of carnage going on around him he just seems calm. We have really needed that.

Once he's in and when he steps it up he can be brutally dismissive of the bowling.
