We'll miss them when they're gone.

Like we did Cook, and Strauss before that.

Although we do seem to have more good bowling options than opening batsmen.

Woakes and archer look a fine replacements.

It's funny how types of players come in gluts. At the moment we've got a tonne of wicketkeepers - foakes, Buttler, bairstow, Cox

For years we didn't have any all rounders but with stokes and moeen it's so much easier to balance the team.

I think leach and bess will develop into decent spin options too.

Hopefully burns and sibley will nail down the opening slots.

I think that's why I get frustrated with the captaincy /management - I think we've got the core of a great side and are properly underperforming.
