They’re very likeable

I’d much rather watch this than the ineffective grinding fare Hoots saddled is with, or the patchy and equally flawed performances that marked out some of our other relegation seasons. Frustrating as hell as many of the performances haven’t been far off or arguably deserved better results, but fundamentally we’re neither clinical enough or solid enough to survive.

That said we will see some entertaining games and we’ll continue to give it a go even if it is a futile cause. I’ve decided to embrace it - relegation always hurts but being adrift at this point (and therefore heavily odds on to go down) at least psychologically allows for any positive results to be a bonus if you accept that likely outcome now. We’ve seen enough promotions and relegations to know that dizzying highs and depressing lows is the City way.
