Wise words ? Or defeatist drivel ? You decide
For 2nd half of the season, anyone determined to cling on to a hope of survival will end most games feeling frustrated, angry and miserable. We've been here at least once before ( 1973-4 was an example, I think). The season has gone !
We just need now to enjoy each game for what it is, without expecting success. There will still be some good performances, to be optimistic about for the future.
Some people ( specially 'the young' maybe ?) will say no, a dedicated fan stays right behind the side until survival is mathematically impossible. But I've done that before, and then wished I'd been realistic once the writing was on the wall.

- Not "wise" words at all. I think they are negative and highly demotivating, but.... (NCFC) - Saucerer, Dec 28, 10:06:34
