Been too much bad news these past few weeks and
now I hear about my all time Norwich hero, Martin Peters. Comfortably the best player I’ve ever seen for Norwich (and no disrespect to the brilliance of Wes, Hicks, Iwan, Holty etc) but he was pure class. If he’d been playing for one of the ‘big’ teams instead of us he would’ve regained his England place. As it was he captained an England B side if my memory serves me right. Made such an impression on me at a young age but didn’t meet him until 2006 at a book signing in Waterstones in Norwich. So many memories I can’t tell you and I’m so sad. RIP MP
