The assumption we will bounce striaght back is very dangerous

As I have said before, it seems utter nonsense to have strategy that involves trying to establish yourself at the level you are already at, by getting relegated and then getting back to that level in the future.

If we stay up we probably lose a couple of our star young players but possibly (outside chance) could retain them all unless we get offered absolutely huge sums of money for them.

If we go down, we will not keep hold of these youngsters and whilst we may have loads of cash, there is no guarantee at all that we will find the formula that clicked so well last season.
