You mean spending within our means?
We nearly went into administration at the start of the last season, which I don’t think any of us want a repeat of. I also think the current attitude towards spending is a hangover from the Naismith et al era that Webber inherited. I would like to think that if we came up next season we would still spend only what we have but we’d have more money and so could get better/more players so make a better fist of staying up.
