Anyone on Working Tax,Child Tax or Universal Credit, this is a great savings scheme:
Help To Save. I know it might seem a bit odd, offering a savings scheme to people who are getting tax credits but this seems pretty good. Basically it last 4 years, you can put in up to £50 per month and at the end of 2 or 4 years the Government will add another 50% of whatever you've put in. IE £50 per month for 4 years will get you a total of £3600 (£2400 invested + £1200 "bonus").
If you jointly claim Tax Credits with your partner, you can both do Help To Save scheme separately. ( Max £2400 "bonus")
