Summer recruitment at Centre back

I think the majority of fans would've identified an extra dedicated centre back as a key part of requirements.

Godfrey, Zimmermann and Klose all deserving of a shot at the Premier League. Hanley not so much. He was poor in his one cup appearance this year against Pompey. Plus he was known to be very injury prone.

As much as Webber has been lauded for his role in our promotion. The failure to identify a new centre back was poor and should be rightfully called out.

Was a 5-10 million central defender beyond the capability of our club?
