roast chicken is a good one for a 'difficult' Sunday

scrub and chop some spuds, chuck a bit of salt and pepper on a chicken and sling it all in the oven.

Seems relatively pain-free to me and has the bonus that the tasty smells should rouse one from one's slumbers later
