In my view it is entirely the opposite

It is the younger fans who have only known the recent promotion to the premiership who still support Worthy as they have been brainwashed into believing he took us to the "promised land." They still hero worship him for deleivering us promotion.

Those of us who have been about a bit longer remember that we used to frequently finish in the upper echelons of the prem and first division and also remember the football that we used to play which kind of puts Worthy's achievements and the clubs current ambitions into some perspective. Better managers than Worthy have got us promoted from the second tier to the top division on far less resources.

The NCISA meeting at St Andrews Hall was mainly attended by supporters aged 25 an upwards. I would say most were over 40. it is no group of kids that want him out.
