Would selling Max Aarons be a good or bad thing.......
Lots of speculation that Spurs are interested.
Now before everyone goes off the rails I'm not saying Max is a bad player (he is clearly a great player) but the counter argument is we play too open with the young FBs.
To counteract all the suggestions, there can be no doubt that Maddison is a great player but.....selling him was one of the best things we ever did.
In terms of giving the club the ability to buy several players and bolster the squad but also develop a different style of play that wasn't centered on Madderz.
I know its a small sample but in the Man City game with Byram playing more of a traditional RB, we played a more solid style and also played a longer game with no fear of Krul kicking it long every now and again.
Yes we lose width but we also gain stability.
