Why should Parliament vote on a deal which by all accounts would be contrary to JRM's as yet unrepealed tax laws? Surely it is entirely appropriate for the Court to declare that the deal would be be incompatible with current law before any vote, simply to avoid confusion later down the line. Of course, given the DUP's statement today this may all be moot.
