On one hand, duh, of course we need to tighten up. But he isnt really covering the mitigating circumstances.

While he kind of acknowledges injuries to CBs, he doesnt really mention our only fit DMF has been filling in at CB, with all the others injured. Plus we know that for the Villa game Godfrey was playing while in need of an op, so was hardly fit.

We've also had a bloody hard run of games.

I suppose he's got to earn a living though.
