FAO Duke of York - re. Dr Who
I disagree with you about the dalek episode. It was very well scripted, the american location also seemed to give it a bit of an 'american sci-fi' feel (like x-files or something) and the acting was pretty good. The special effects were maybe less impressive than something like independence day, but still quite acceptable. I thought the plot was pretty good - the idea of the dalek developing emotions was maybe what you disagreed with?
