To vote that they have no confidence in themselves. To avoid an election the opposition would need to vote that hey did have confidence in the government.

I believe the term 'lol' may be applicable.

The alternative is that Hammond and co join Labour/Liberals/etc and form a unity governemnt. That is unlikely but possible.
