Years ago my Uncle had loads of Beatles 78s and 45s

which one might think would be worth a fortune, but as they sold millions of them they were practically worthless. And that's the trouble with your collection. But, I'm no expert, so you never know - as Arganth suggests below, make a list and have a scan through a Record Collector (google as well - plenty of rare/collectors record sites)
