Press news in....

We're in position for Daniel Farke's pre-Chelsea press conference.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

DF: Onel had surgery and he is out for three months. Zimmermann is not available tomorrow but is back involved. Could be a topic for the West Ham game.

DF: Teemu's form is not surprising. He's so good when you have a striker in this form. It's good for him to have a good start. Not only his goals, his workload is outstanding.

DF: We don't want to win individual statistics, we just want to win as many points as possible. I'm confident Teemu can continue his form!

DF: He has no target. Top quality strikers know there are no targets, it's all about the team.

DF: The VAR is process is clear. My feeling is in general, it's a good start for it. We want to make it as quick as possible. The start to life to VAR hasn't been too bad.

DF: Timm Klose is available for tomorrow. Perhaps not a topic for the starting line-up, but he's back in training and available. Not chance with Josip Drmic though. He's only doing individual stuff.

DF: Newcastle was a top-class performance. We were annoyed with the conceded goal but our defending behaviour was really good.

DF: I'm not surprised. We are all convinced in our way. It was an impressive performance, as was Liverpool. It's good for our confidence. We will still be the underdog in each and every game though. We need to keep working.

DF: Chelsea have been unlucky. They've got their season up and running with performances but just haven't got the win yet. They are such a top-class side. They are perhaps even more dangerous because they are greedy to get their first win.

DF: I like Frank's style. He did a great job at Derby. Chelsea are in a transition because they want to implement a different style.

DF: It's a question of when they will be successful. They caused Leicester lots of problems last Sunday and Liverpool in the Super Cup.

DF: Frank Lampard knows so much about Chelsea. He has to adapt his style to the size and ambitions of the club but you can already see the intensity of his team.

DF: I expect a different game to Newcastle. It's not Chelsea's style to sit back. They will be much more progressive and brave. We have to be prepared. I'm pretty sure they'll try and find a balance and maybe try and counter us.

DF: We play football for the fans and football should always be entertaining. I want us to entertain. The good thing is we don't need the floodlights at home tomorrow! The game against Derby was a bit crazy! We should have won.

DF: Not many players were involved the last time we played Chelsea. We were competitive when they came here, it was a stalemate but we attacked. The replay was also quite entertaining.

DF: It's always possible to dominate possession but to have to consider the opponent sometimes. Chelsea have lots of quality. We won't end the game with 90% possession. Our defending, control have to be good. We need a well-rounded performance to win.

DF: Mason Mount is a top-class player. He proved it at Derby and has done well for Chelsea. We can't just focus on him though. They have so many threats.

DF: We need performances from all of our players to get a good team performance. The points from the team are the most important thing.

DF: Teemu has a natural instinct when it comes to scoring goals. I have always liked his movement. He has always thought about the team. We followed him and were delighted we took our chance to sign him. It's not gone to too bad.

DF: Pulisic is a top-class player. We worked together at Dortmund but not directly. He will have a great career. The move to Chelsea was well-deserved.

DF: I'm really pleased with Emi Buendia's first two games. He struggled a bit in pre-season with injury. He was good against Liverpool and against Newcastle. He had a lot of headlines last season and I'm pleased with how he's doing right now. But he can always improve.

DF: Emi is an emotional player. His attitude is very likeable. You have to calm him sometimes but his behaviour has been brilliant recently. He's in a good place.

---------------------------------------------------------------

That's all from Daniel Farke. Stay tuned for more reaction from him ahead of tomorrow!
