They do. We've been getting away with this kind of pathetic, shoddy batting for too long
We are fortunate that we have excellent bowlers and a couple of players who have got us out of jail quite regularly in recent years but when you scratch beneath the surface its clear a lot of things are not right with the test side.
The batting coaching must be poor. The mentality just seems all wrong. The batting order is wrong. Selection is a bit weird and wrong and I think we have the wrong man as captain too. As soon as anyone just bowls straight at us and stops easy runs our batsmen just give their wickets away.
This has been embarrassing today given the context. Just have to hope someone can play a miracle innings and get us out of it.
Other than that we are not bad!
