First hum 'Press news in'.......

We're in position at the Lotus Training Centre awaiting the Boss... Updates to come shortly!

----------------------------------------------------------------

DF: Alex Tettey is back and available for tomorrow. Ibrahim and Amadou and Mario Vrancic have had a week training, these are the positives.

DF: Timm Klose and Christoph Zimmermann are not available for tomorrow. Kenny McLean is also a major doubt and we are definitely without Josip Drmic."

DF: "We also have big blow for Onel Hernandez. He slipped over at home and fell on his knee. We have to check if there's something wrong with his ACL. He is out for 3 months, may need surgery."

DF: Timm Klose could be back next week for Chelsea, we have wait for Christoph Zimmermann.

DF: Performance-wise, we were pretty good and had most shots on Liverpool's goal in 2 years. We should have scored a few more.

DF: The second-half was quite important, especially for quite a young side. We know the performance was alright but we were 4-0 down. But to go out with that performance after half-time, it was very impressive.

DF: We know we have pressure in each and every game. We are the underdog in most games because of the possibilities of the opponents. Newcastle are a big club. They have top class players and have strengthened in the summer. Almiron, Joelinton, Saint-Maximin... we have to be at our best level.

DF: It's the first Premier League game at Carrow Road in a few years. The crowd will be lively.

DF: Onel is unpredictable and it's a huge blow. He would have been important for tomorrow and for the next few months.

DF: We need a bit of luck in terms of injury. You can't complain when something happens on the pitch. We are unbelievably unlucky because Zimbo and Onel have injured themselves off the pitch. You can't do much about these setbacks.

DF: We can't replace Onel so we have to find solutions in a different way. It's a big chance for some other players and find some solutions. We will know tomorrow what the situation is with Onel. There is definitely a tear in his lateral meniscus. My concern is that it could be an ACL.

DF: I still have hope that Christoph is back in team training in the next one or two weeks. He could be back for the West Ham game.

DF: Ibrahim is definitely available but on the other hand, he's only had one full week. He needs time to learn how to play with the players. With Alex Tettey, he knows how to play with the players.

DF: Not sure Ibrahim is a topic for the starting line-up but he could feature.

DF: Moritz is a key player but it doesn't mean each and every key player will play every game. Against Liverpool, we needed more physical threats on the pitch but he had a really good impact.

DF: We had to wait a bit with injuries before sending Louis out on loan. We have options in RB and CM. We got the feeling Louis needs minutes, it's not easy after so many injuries to play at the top level. I hope he returns with many, many minutes.

DF: Newcastle were unlucky against Arsenal. I'm full of respect for Steve Bruce, his sides are always fully committed. We will have to patient and they have lots of threats in the offence.

DF: They have some key players in the midfield. We will have to be awake to be competitive.

DF: The price you pay after such an amazing season last year, we had so many wins and scored so many goals! We have to learn we are in the best league in the world, we need to stick together, players and fans. There will be difficult periods.

DF: The supporters have a good feeling. We need their support and I trust them to help us.

DF: We can take lots of positives from Liverpool. We showed we can compete at that level. But we want some points, we want to gain some points tomorrow.

DF: All players in our U23s have a chance to be involved in the Cup games. They are all welcome to impress but they have to work hard.

--------------------------------------------------------------

That's all from the Boss. Full reaction from today's presser to come later today and tomorrow!
