What about the fans who purchased a standard away membership?
I feel for them fans. Absolutely zero chance of getting a ticket unless you want to go to Burnley.
Big suspicions on how fans are buying tickets in bulk and for what purpose. I saw at least 7 Liverpool ‘tourist’ fans on Friday night and with no previous history required to get a premier away memberships and with the £30 cap, it makes it easy for touts to buy a membership and make big profit during the season at £50-70 a ticket.
Let’s be honest, it’s not been well thought of at all and not based on any loyalty system, apart from the first priority window. Refund all away memberships now and adopt a points system. Could anyone justify complaining about this if it happened?
