I was not criticising him. I like him as a player but I was simply saying I have some

doubts over whether his "end product" will be efficient enough for us at the top level.

I actually have no idea what the "norm" is in terms of the stats levels for attacking players (and as a consequence how Onel's stats measure up against other top wingers) but just out of interest I looked up the stats for last season.

Pukki had 143 shots of which 57 were on target and he scored 36 goals. So 40% of his shots are on target and 25% resulted in goals.

Onel had 84 shots of which 31 were on target and scored 11 goals. So 37% of his shots were on target (better than I expected to be honest) and 13% resulted in goals.

Its not just about the stats of course as decision making comes into it and as I have said I don't know how other comparable players compare (Pukki is a centre forward and had a great season so perhaps not a fair comparison) but if analysing where a player can improve their game then I would suggest scoring from 1 shot in 8 is an area where gains could be made because its not as if he has loads of shots from long range. And hopefully they will! There is nothing to dislike about Onel, he seems a great guy.
