I think he's being a bit disingenuous
Because the 70m net in transfers came from astute signings and youth development from the old regime. Like all hierarchies, they made some bad decisions and some good ones.
Webber seems to be highlighting the bad decisions they made, while also taking credit for the high value sales. Which seems a little unfair.
