But I’m not sure that his moving to a different paper has suddenly made him Hugh McIlvanney. Is he now the only source of the truth? I’m going to get quite bored if this board now becomes the Athletic rehashed. You can see that this is how their model will work - suggest that no one else knows and so people ignore every other outlet.
